FR Sock is a fire-retardant thin cover that goes over the foam for all the thickness.
Both type of foam may be glued side by side OR thickness may be glued to get the correct height. The glue is strong and will not fall apart.

Tough Luxury Extra Firm: This Tough Luxury-Firm foam grade is very firm and high density. This kind of foam has rubber based characteristics; which means it will not break down like ordinary foam. It will maintain its original shape and density for many years. Density is a 2.8lbs with a 65 ILD.
Rebounded Hard Foam: Also known as rebond, is an open-cell polyurethane foam that is firm and heavy but flexible and is made from reclaimed foam & scrap foam. Density is a 6lbs with a is 75 ILD.
Shipping rebounded foam: It is best to ship this foam with freight carrier not compressed. Otherwise, if it is compressed by machine foam will not expand to the correct size. It is slightly bigger or smaller by 2″ in length. Having a cover for it during shipping will prevent size change. If you are ok with rebounded foam still being compressed Foam N’ More will not be responsible for the size change.

I wanted something that felt close to laying on plywood (sounds rough but it’s actually been the best for my back). It’s actually extra firm and is amazing for my back and neck issues. I fall asleep so fast and sleep so soundly. It’s extra firm while also having enough “give” to not cause pressure points. Even if I have to end up replacing this every few years it’s much more cost effective than replacing a whole mattress. Foam N More was great to work with; they shipped super fast and I received the mattress within a few days. It opened up and wasn’t bumpy. It also had very little off-gasing smell which I was glad about! So glad I found this company!

finally got to use the extra firm mattress, this is what is called a firm mattress not the one’s that the box stores sell.
very good overall experiance
only issue was the packaging, comes rolled up with saran wrap which is fine but the final tape that holds the roll together should be different color so one can easily figure out where to cut and open from.
