Description
Build your own dance floors! We can custom make 2lbs Minicell cross-linked closed-cell foam blocks 3″ x 3″ X 3/4″ or 3″ thick to adhere under the plywood to give you a little bounce and then crash directly to the plywood. This method gives the best resilience under the sub-floor and will retain its function for many years.
The most common size for dance floors is 3″ x 3″ X 3/4″ and you will need 54 pieces of 3″ x 3″ x 3/4″ high foam per 4’ft x 8’ft plywood sheet.
If you would like to add adhesive backing the foam will be cut to size just peel off the backing – it’s that easy!
Other sizes and thicknesses are available for jiu jitsu floors. For maximum protection, we offer 3” and 4” thick foam blocks that will offer high rebounding and absorb shock when landing.
Please email us with the size and how many pieces you are looking for prices.

The foam for our sprung floor arrived in great shape and looks even better than we expected. Very sturdy and resilient-looking dense foam. We are looking forward to the ease of installing using the self adhesive surface,

I ordered the foam to use to build a sprung floor in my basement for my daughters. I created a 20’x11′ using overlapping sheets of wood as the subfloor with marley installed over top. These foam pads were the base of my floor.
The foam arrived in a compact box. It installed super easy. If you are on the fence about doing the adhesive yourself or buying the version with the adhesive already attached, save yourself a ton of time, and buy the product with the adhesive included. It made the job so much easier. I had a helper (my wife) peel the adhesive from the foam while I measured where to install them in order to provide a consistent sprung feeling on the floor. The end result was fantastic and it saved me a ton of time on the job.
