* Please note: there may be air holes or “birthmarks” that cannot be controlled or replaced. If you need to see a picture of what it looks like please let us know.
* We vacuum pack the foam to reduce on shipping cost. Please opened package right away and you will need to give the foam 1-2 days to come back to its original shape. It will look a little misshaped and not measure to its correct size until after you let it expand back out.
* To remove the tiles off of the wall (without adhesive glue) try to use a steamer and then you may need liquid paint thinner.
Our acoustic tiles are cut exactly to size as shown on our web site but when we used a machine to compress the foam sometimes the acoustic foam will not come back to size.
The acoustic foam will have a +-1/4” tolerance.
If the tiles that are too big can be push and compress down to place when gluing to make it the correct size. The tiles that are too small can be stretch a little to make it the correct size.
If you have any questions or concerns about this statement please feel free to contact us.
Please note: When comparing different types of Acoustic foam with other companies it is most important to look at the density and ILD of the foam. All of our acoustic foam has a 1.7lbs density and ILD of 70.
All Noise Studio Control foam is a California 117 flame retardant specification, class B type. Please look at specs sheet for more details and our disclaimer.
Also, please check your building codes before installing our acoustic foam. Different building codes apply to different locations. Our foam will not pass the E84 Test

I own a custom electronics integration company that specializes in home cinemas, music studios and media rooms. In my humble opinion, these are the real deal. Foam For You provides VERY dense acoustic foam treatments, not the thin, lightweight material found on Amazon. This is USA Grade-A commercial grade acoustic foam.
I have purchased various acoustic foam over the years from Parts Express and Amazon, that foam is NOTHING compared to FoamForYou. FoamForYou also has foam material data sheets that may assist you in configuring the NRC rating. If I was to make one suggestion it would be to add the NRC to each of their acoustic products.
In full transparency, there were some minor defects in some of the foam. A few superficial holes and a small incomplete or torn section off the back of one corner piece. These defects will not be noticeable when installed; nor with they make any discernible impact on performance. The same defects were also noted on previous Chinese foam products purchased elsewhere.
SUPPORT AMERICAN BUSINESS!
I get the feel that FoamForYou is a smaller company, which is a GOOD thing! Call them and you’ll speak to a human! Things sometimes run a tad slower in smaller companies, so don’t expect the “AMAZON conglomerate speed of next-day, shipped it to ya yesterday” orders. My order took a few days to fill and ship, and they were out of Red foam blocks; but that really didn’t effect me negatively.
Glad I found them, and from now on Foam For You will be our go-to source for our residential and commercial A/V projects.
